Q5 is November and December. A season of celebration and reflection (thanks SHU).

I will probably do a more detailed plan each week but the big picture for November looks like the above.
November and December in education are kind of low key?… At least in my field – world language. In November I am working for 15 and a half days, due to Election Day, NJ educator convention, and Thanksgiving break.
Because of that I’ll be able to dedicate some time to myself- yoga, blogging, hiking, and reading. I could sign up for morning yoga lessons, instead of doing the evenings. I have to keep my eye on phone usage on these days, because phone… T is traveling for only one week. Oh, oh, oh, and there is NaBloPoMo 2024. I have not decided whether I will participate yet. Last year was A LOT and I was scrambling but it was still great.
December…

In December I am working for 15 days due to winter break which is 12 days this year.
I want to be mindful what I say yes to this December. I want to feel festive but not overwhelmed. Is that possible?.. I have ideas to visit Bryant park in NYC with the kids, do the Winter village shops, go to PA to see Santa… Schools will probably have their concerts (L already knows her winter concert date). Her 7th birthday party is also in December (albeit her actual birthday is at the end of November). We will also host Christmas dinner for our friends.
Christmas celebration season deserves its own post of course.
What are you most looking forward to in Q5?
