I won’t get very wordy about this but in a nutshell, I did so-so on my January intentions. I did get out and saw people despite not particularly wanting to.

My involvement in local community increased a bit. I did not exercise or do yoga. I did not hike. Our date fell through, and I was doing well with one coffee per day but gave that up shortly after. Below mind map is a visual representation of January.

February is below. Three major categories: Relationships / self / work. I also added “colleagues” but what I meant was “community.” My hope is that February will be warmer and I can start hiking again.

There is some intersection among the categories. Example: Lunar New Year. Ultimately it’s for me, since I love Asian culture, and want to visit Asian Society Museum in NYC. But I am also bringing L with me, so now it also connects with relationships category.

I will probably add more to this mind map later, but for now, here it is.

How about you? Intentions for February?

I like the map format instead of a list– and I really like these categories! Very clear but also lots of room to be creative under each heading.

I love the format, so fun! My February goals are to keep up my January goals, I’ve crushed them, so I need to just keep it up.

I like your format; it is very fun. I am a bit more listy, but can totally appreciate your frivolity with order! I don’t really have “intentions,” but definitely have some things on my to do list! I am still trying to work on purging what I did not get purged last year, then I will do some home improvements and hopefully travel. In the meantime, I need to make sure I keep exercising and keeping in touch with friends (both of those have been harder lately for sure).

That is a great question! I am still working that out, but hope to have some plans firmed up in the next couple of months and will definitely let you know! There is just too much to see and I get over excited about thinking of all of it!

I love how you’ve laid out your goals on paper – it’s a really interesting way to look at it!
I do have some intentions for February, in terms of writing. I also am planning a Galentine’s party for my new girlfriends, so that should be fun.

Oh, I love your mind maps! You have such lovely handwriting! I am hoping to keep some personal momentum going into February and not let myself fall of my list.

Wonderful, Lindsay! I feel like after laying relatively low in January, I will be a bit more active in February.

I love your monthly “vision board”… it’s good to write stuff out. I applaud you for trying to be more social. I am hoping to be more of that myself this year.

I am also intrigued by this map format. I love looking at it but not sure it would work for me.

February we will be celebrating our 10th anniversary and go away for a 6 days. I am looking forward to that.

The mind maps are great. A much easier visualisation of your month and makes it easier to accomodate activities that meet multiple goals. In February I’m just trying to build my running and overhaul my lunches and breakfasts for more protein. Late FEb we have a trip to Tasmania, so that is exciting.
