The moon tonight over NJ is very special. It’s full, or almost full, and it’s covered by this transparent film; clouds?
One of my intentions is to be more involved with my local community so I am here at the parent- teacher meeting, waiting for it to start. Mainly to show my face, but also to get to know the other parents and show my support for the administration.
The wheel of daily life keeps spinning. It’s not necessarily bad. I enjoy going to work. Seeing students, laughing with them, learning from them, teaching them, meeting with them, seeing them in the hall way, saying hello, even having critical conversations.
I also love coming back home. Seeing T, sharing about our days, picking up the kids, throwing something together for dinner. In essence, it’s a privilege to have your life just humming along, safe and secure. Everyone is relatively healthy, fed, clean, loved, and on time. The bills are paid, and savings are automated. The house is moderately clean and the laundry is put away. On one hand that is stability. On another hand, it’s ground hog day.
I am currently all in Momfluenced, a book by Sara Petersen. Thank you, Sarah, for the recommendation. I am flying through it, and that breaks my long streak of mediocre books!
