The moon tonight over NJ is very special. It’s full, or almost full, and it’s covered by this transparent film; clouds?

One of my intentions is to be more involved with my local community so I am here at the parent- teacher meeting, waiting for it to start. Mainly to show my face, but also to get to know the other parents and show my support for the administration.

The wheel of daily life keeps spinning. It’s not necessarily bad. I enjoy going to work. Seeing students, laughing with them, learning from them, teaching them, meeting with them, seeing them in the hall way, saying hello, even having critical conversations.

I also love coming back home. Seeing T, sharing about our days, picking up the kids, throwing something together for dinner. In essence, it’s a privilege to have your life just humming along, safe and secure. Everyone is relatively healthy, fed, clean, loved, and on time. The bills are paid, and savings are automated. The house is moderately clean and the laundry is put away. On one hand that is stability. On another hand, it’s ground hog day.

I am currently all in Momfluenced, a book by Sara Petersen. Thank you, Sarah, for the recommendation. I am flying through it, and that breaks my long streak of mediocre books!

Guest room shenanigans- why not?

I have the Momfluencer book on the bedside table; I’ve only read one chapter but I am HOOKED! I also heard about it via Sarah. I can’t wait to keep reading tonight at bedtime!!

And yup – I also feel like this is one of those weeks/months where the wheel just keeps spinning. It’s mostly okay, but I also feel like I’m just one wobble away from falling off my bike? Maybe?

I’m intrigued by the book, will check it out, thanks for the shout out. The spinning of life, daily routines, could feel busy and at the same time, they form our life story.

I am so impressed that you can dash off a post while carrying on with life at a PTA meeting! I am such a slow writer and I get easily distracted that I don’t know if I could do that. Also why it takes me so long to post anything.
“On one hand that is stability. On another hand, it’s ground hog day.” – LOVE THIS. So true.
There’s fascinating podcast called Under The Influence with Jo Piazza that examines the whole culture of influencers and specifically “mommy bloggers”. It was so interesting, and if you’re into podcasts, I highly recommend.

It’s a privilege indeed to have life humming along, safe and secure. It can be ripped away in a second.

When all is running smoothly it is the fruit you have planted earlier by getting sh*t done. Pat yourself on the back.
