Here is a spontaneous list of good things.

I mostly remember positive moments, because, you don’t take pictures of hard times but let me assure you- the year had ups and downs. Not in chronological order but come as it comes.

💫 L got her ears pierced. I got Invisalign!

💫 I attended a professional conference in NYC for three days.

💫 Celebrated R’s 3, mine and T’s 40+, and L’s 6th birthdays!

💫 Had a cute Valentine’s and St. Patrick’s Day.

💫 Bring your child to work day with L.

💫 Started this blog after about 5 years of second-guessing myself

💫 R is completely potty trained.

💫 Visited Denmark, Portugal, and Spain with kids.

💫 I went to see my friend in Poland.

💫 R did three weeks of summer camp and started pre-school.

💫 L did three weeks of summer camp and started kindergarten.

💫 We had a fun Halloween (thanks honey!)

💫 November was filled with a variety of sicknesses for everyone in the family. 💫 Were well enough to host Thanksgiving dinner for us four and our two friends.

💫 Everyone was better in December and we have a Christmas celebration at our house, tonight!

💎Other positive things that I did💎

I started regularly going to the Korean Spa, taking regular walks, and taking vitamins.

I made sure that I am hydrated at work.

I read regularly albeit not having a precise quota of books. I read a mix of fiction and non-fiction.

I transferred my retirement account onto a self-managed account thus saving on advisor fees. As a result I got interested and educated myself in the stock market.

I made a new *Russian* friend – a mom that lives in our neighborhood!

I meditated regularly but then again, no quota.

I invested some money into quality, targeted, skin and hair care.

I consistently threw things out (sometimes to a fault ;).

I planned out my weeks, months and quintiles to look back and set intentions forward.

I was (mostly) compassionate with myself over mistakes I made.

I stayed off social media except blogging.

It was hard to decide what pictures to include- so many good moments, big and small. So I just did random four.

You had a wonderful year! It’s good to look back on so many positives! Taco WILL potty train this year. He doesn’t have much interest yet but it’s time for it to happen now that he is 3. My niece trained last winter before she turned 2!! Boys are so different than girls when it comes to things like training it seems. I would love to be done carrying a diaper bag around in 2024!

My year had lots of highs. The best parts were travel – Paul and I visited my sister in Tucson in August and I went to Banff in August. I traveled a lot for work, too, and got to meet you and see Kyria so that was great to mix some fun with business!

Merry Christmas!! L trained faster than R, too. He took his time, but I remember, we were in Denmark, he asked to go potty. I was like yesssssss!!

I LOVE Ta-Da lists. There is less pressure than a specific “goals” list, and it is so important to celebrate accomplishments/good things, no matter how “big” or “small” they are ❤

Exactly! When I feel down but not being enough I remember that I actually did great.

I love the term “ta-da” list (coined by Elisabeth) and will use it frequently… and look at all the great things that happened for you last year. I love that you traveled with your family, that you saw friends and and most of all that you started this blog to share it all with us 🙂
