Tobia wrote about music in her life yesterday and that inspired me to pin point some of favorite Spotify playlists.
Music is important to me: it calms me down, focuses me, lifts my mood, brightens a bad day.
- ADHD Hyper-fixation playlist. I do not have ADHD (at least I was never diagnosed) but this playlist is good for anyone who needs focus for some deep work. In my case: lesson and life planning, grading, and blogging. I also use it in my classroom when students are working in groups or independently.
- Cozy Jazz playlist. For writing, planning, cooking, getting ready in the morning.
- Anything by Diana Krall with a cocktail, candles burning, and a book.
- Evening acoustic, or afternoon acoustic. Or morning acoustic! Cozy, moody, lovely.
- This Christmas playlist by Leslie Odom Jr. for the holidays. I personally love his voice and the way he puts his own spin holiday favorites.
- Our Universe Netflix series soundtrack. Amazing, inspiring, some tracks bring tears to my eyes.
