After I reflected on my inability to make a decision and to actually make a purchase, Julie from Thinking About read my post and just sent me her two scarves. How amazing is that??? I am Russian so I don’t really have big feelings (kidding, not kidding) but I felt SO TOUCHED when I opened the package and out came the two scarves. So touched. I will wear both with great pleasure. Picture below.

I am so cozy!!

Also. It’s Friday and I am FRIED. This week kind of sucked but at the same time it didn’t.

Low lights…. A sick kid, then sick me, and solo parenting. Parenting part was actually was kind of okay *scratches head* I worked Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Had a department meeting on Thursday, then rushed to the supermarket after to pick up tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, and basil for the potluck at work, then rushed to pick up the kids, then rushed home. Looked at the clock: 5:30PM. Fed the kids dinner, played with them, watched them dance for me (hilarious), bathed them, read a few books and collapsed in a heap.

Highlights… A pot luck at work! My mozzarella cheese salad was a hit (nothing left). Students were happy to see me and asked about the sick kid (see above). T is back from business trip so now I have someone to talk to! Black Friday deals are live at Nordstrom’s, but, you know me, I am all talk. I don’t actually buy anything. Just look. An audio book by Gary Janetti “Do you mind if I cancel?” – hilarious, laugh out loud, warm. Loved it.

I’m reading these posts one after another, because I’m behind – but I want you to know that you are a bright light. I so enjoy your positive outlook. You give off a ray of sunshine. The scarves gift is so sweet. I received a few surprise gifts from blog friends last year and I was SO touched. I’m glad T is home from the business trip. You deserve a break.

Yay! You got the scarves! I’m so glad they will get use. The one in the picture is softer than the green one, I think. I’m behind in reading and commenting, so am just now seeing this. I’m sorry you got sick, hope you feel better soon. ❤
