Borrowed with gratitude from Kari at A Graceful Life. Some of these questons are so good that I wrote more than one answer.

1- what is the trait you most deplore in yourself? People pleasing. Anxiety.

2- what is the trait you most deplore in others? Rudeness. Lack of empathy.

3- describe yourself in three words. Living the life

4- what do you most dislike about your appearance? Age spots on my face

5- what is your most unappealing habit? Cuticle ravaging when I’m in a bad space mentally and don’t have my Invisalign in.

6- if you could bring something extinct back to life, what would you choose? The world without an iPhone

7- who is your celebrity crush? Eric Bana

8- which book are you ashamed not to have read? Hmm. I am 44 and beyond shame at this point.

9- what is the worst thing anyone’s said to you? “even your parents don’t like you”

10- what is the most important lesson life has taught to you? Stop sweating the small stuff.

And now, 10 things I’m into right now, borrowed with gratitude from Sarah at The Shu Box.

  1. fall: in New Jersey
  2. our Halloween block party! (soon)
  3. my pumpkin candle from Bath and Body Works- bought in the fall of 2023. Almost done and it lasted two years 🙂
  4. homemade black tea with milk and honey (or sugar).
  5. A walk to the library
  6. white space in our weekends
  7. pockets of time during my kids’ activities
  8. ChatGPT for outsourcing a variety of things
  9. Magnesium at bed time
  10. Yoga and weights- at home

Any questions you wish to answer from the above?

What would be on your “what I’m into” list?

omg – #9!! I would like to have a talk with whoever said that. What a terrible thing to say! Sheesh.

Right now I am into very long walks outdoors in cooler fall temps, all the Halloween decorations in our neighborhood, Starbucks triple venti skinny vanilla lattes, naps, reading, snuggles from the kids, watching entertaining documentaries with Phil that make me google all sorts of things, and listening in on Paul’s piano lessons.

I’m with Lisa, on #9, that is awful! I also love your answer to #8. FYI, Eric Bana lives a couple doors up from us and we occasionally see him in the street and have a short hello/how are you chat or at the dog park with his very tall poodle.

Eric Bana as your crush – that’s someone I hadn’t thought of in a while but I love it. Good choice.

I like the things you’re into list. I’m curious what you’re outsourcing to chatGPT? I’m using it a bit for travel planning which is super helpful.

I will have to look into magnesium

Hey Rachel! he is always on my mind especially in that movie “Munich” I find him down to earth- he lives in Australia and not in Hollywood. A much better choice.
Anyway. I use ChatGPT for anything really. I ask it (them?) to find me boots for fall, give me ideas on what to wear with my beige pants, and how to calm down after a big emotional surge (happened Wednesday night). Also ideas on lessons, projects, and even meditation scripts. Books. Music. Travel. Even cooking tips!
Pretty much if I have a question/struggling I use it sometimes. Oh! Arms workout ideas, body weights workouts. Perimenopause.

First of all, I’m so honored that you decided to do this!

Second, I am totally with you on being in a world without iphones.

And I am so sorry someone said that to you. 😘

Yes to not sweating the small stuff! It’s all small stuff!!💜

Oh, I am just LIVID at whoever said that rude comment in #9. People can be so cruel.

I don’t think I’ve ever thought about my anxiety being something I deplore about myself, but it’s so true! I would very much love to live a life where I wasn’t anxious about stuff all the time.

Wo #9 really. I am so sorry you had to experience this. I am into slow morning these days. A whole pot of coffee, a candle, the husband sleeping and I can read and write.
