On Thursday I took a day off work to attend my son’s preschool graduation! Adorable and sweet. Thankful to all of his preschool teachers for working with his class. They sang two songs, and we spent time in his classroom. He wanted McDonald’s to celebrate. Sure thing, kid!

Both of my kids went to the same preschool, located in town, subsidized by the local government. Foto dump:

For kicks… here are some pictures of other moving UP and moving ON ceremonies from the same preschool.

I love the photos! I really love his outfit; he looks quite spiffy with his matching pants and bow tie! I am sure you must be very proud of him, and also excited to have him in elementary school next year. His preschool teacher looks like a fun person, but I must be getting old, because dang, she looks young to me! Haha.

That is darn cute. He does look spiffy as K. said.

It is interesting that preschool is such a huge thing. There is nothing here in Germany that celebrates the end of pre school. However we celebrate first day in school. So maybe that is just shifted?

Maybe… I feel the US would celebrate anything given the chance. We even celebrate 100th day of school (mainly on an elementary level..)

oh congratulations R, what a big boy! Looking very grown up. So cute and glad you were able to take the day off to attend. Owen will be doing the same in a few months at the end of our school year. 🙂

What sweet pictures of your handsome family!

our youngest had her “graduation” ceremony last week too. I don’t have any pictures of her, really. She was too busy eating the snacks and hanging out with her friends. She decided she wanted to wear her Snow White costume to graduation, which was kind of hilarious.

I know you have a lot on your plate right now, what with your trip and father and all. I’m glad you had these moments of joy in the midst of everything going on.
