Friday night I bought tickets to go see my high school play and took L with me. The play had 8 actors who are my students: two current and six former. The play, “Lend Me a Tenor”, was funny and heart-warming. We bought eight sunflowers, and L gave a flower to each of the actors in the play.

We came back kind of late (for us). At 9:30PM she was done with the world. Skipped her nightly shower, just washed her feet, face, and teeth and off to bed she went. I did the same 🙂

On Saturday we had the usual activities: gymnastics for both, skates for R, piano for L, yoga for me. Saturday afternoon was very relaxing, a movie, some Legos, some piano…Then I went over to my sister-friend H’s house for a casual dinner while T did dinner with the kids at the house.

On Sunday morning the kids went to breakfast with T and our neighbors while I stayed back, did some laundry, had a call with my dad, and picked up the house. R then went to our neighbor’s house to play with his buddy, and L was with us. In the afternoon I felt bored so I grabbed R, and we briefly went out. Returned books to the library and went grocery shopping. In the evening, L went to see How the Grinch Stole Christmas at the State Theater with T, and I had some time with my son. We watched Transformers One movie which I surprisingly enjoyed! 🤔

We are going to the grinch at the children’s theater in 2 weeks and I can’t wait! It has become a family tradition to go each year. I hope the boys don’t outgrow it for quite some time!!

The weekend sounds good overall! You felt bored today – WOW!! I don’t ever feel bored. I think I am better at relaxing than you, or lazier? Ha. We had a good weekend since the boys were apart for all of Saturday. They are in this stage of messing with each other ALL THE TIME.

I have never even heard of that play! However, it sounds like you guys had fun. I remember going to the plays at the HS when I was younger. I always enjoyed it a lot. My favorite was Fiddler on the Roof!
