I bought a cute domain name just now and refunded it right away. I figured that I will try this for free first.

Why? This idea of fragmented memory, even with little things. I’ve always enjoyed writing but have been mainly doing it in my journal. In fact, it has become a habit. Every morning at about 5AM I do a 10-15 minute meditation then grab my very simple spiral notebook and do a stream-of-consciousness writing for two or three pages.

This blog is mainly for me: self-expression, putting something out there, and reflection, reflection, reflection. No high-quality writing or deeply moving stories. Well, maybe sometimes. Life. Regular, messy, everyday stuff intertwined with travels, reading, gardening, and whatever else. Prepare to be underwhelmed.

I also plan to include photos of whatever sparks my interest. Photos of everyday life. Again, the concept of fragmented memory (thanks, Stephen King).

I really should have started this blog a loooong time ago. But then again- fear of failure, impostor syndrome, all of the above. But I feel it’s time.Inspiration comes from many women creators out there. Christine Koh and Sarah Hart-Unger who has been blogging since 2004(!). She is so down-to-earth in her blogging/writing/podcasting and she doesn’t sweat it. The above two women are true powerhouses in putting content out there.

Oh I am so jealous! I always wanted to have a blog, just like yours but I never got to it! You have a new reader 😘 And I miss Panera… The brocoli soup with grilled chees.

Oh mami how much I miss you!! This blog is really about self-expression, in a very imperfect way ❤️
