This post is a good representation of our typical Sundays. Chill and basic.
We were up early, around 6:30, with me going downstairs and putting the kettle on. The kids came down shortly after, and I made oatmeal for R. L stated she was not not hungry yet. No problem.
T then made his signature Sunday morning pancake breakfast for us.

After bumming around some, R wanted to watch Star Wars Return of the Jedi so we put it on for him. L watched a little, lost interest and started doing her piano. She is starting to play with both hands!

I went to the store to pick up a gallon of milk and some yoghurt for the week. Also got a few practical things for my Russian friend K, who had a baby ten days ago (!!). She was coming over our house for a visit with her oldest, who is R’s age. I met her at jiu jitsu and we became friends.
The kids played, K and I had tea, cookies and a nice chat.

We then bummed around some more, did some laundry, put away the laundry from last weekend (!!), went for a walk, and then T brought them to a local playground.
By 2pm we were not sure what to do. The kids were whiny so I decided to make muffins with them. Something to do, you know?

Dinner was pork, asparagus and beans, cooked by T. We were all done with the world by then. R went to sleep early, L and I watched 30 minutes of The Polar Express, then went to bed.
I have a full week ahead of me but nothing too major. Typical stuff: work, family, house, yoga.
